DevOps Engineer

Here's what we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team, with a specialization in Google Cloud Platform serverless architecture.  

The successful candidate is expected to have mastered Terraform as IaC for managing production grade infrastructure at scale, in addition to having the Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification from Google Cloud. 

A passion for technology, a constant desire to learn, and the ability to foster the professional development of colleagues are crucial to excel in this position.

Your daily responsibilities

  • Develop, construct, and implement CI/CD pipelines to reduce the build times of services and address security vulnerabilities identified by our scanning tools;
  • Maintain and expand service monitoring through the use of SLOs to maintain a set SLA; 
  • Apply site reliability engineering best practices to seamlessly integrate new services;
  • Optimize service efficiency and performance;
  • Expand the application of Terraform to include project provisioning and service deployment for a multitenancy use case applied in different countries;
  • Ensure technical documentation for deployed services is regularly updated and accurate;
  • Work closely with MLOps and SecOps team members to deploy and resolve performance and security patches;  
  • Experience in managing Cloud Run, Cloud Load Balancer, Cloud Armour, Cloud VPC, Cloud DNS, BigQuery CDC. 

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Bac) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
  • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly using Terraform;
  • Advanced experience in containerization, including building, optimizing, and managing Docker-based applications;
  • Experience with AWS services is considered a strong asset, especially AWS Pinpoint, AWS Lambda, and AWS Connect;
  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Google Cloud Build.
